FOUNDER & EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR: Daniel hylden

MBA, CFE, international financial accountability and auditor (30 plus countries)

Hylden gave his life to Christ in his early teenage years. He was active in high school youth group and an active member of both Navigators and Campus Crusade for Christ during his college years.  In Alaska, Hylden was one of the founding members of First Baptist Church Petersburg and the youth leader at the church. He became the Assistant Vice President Branch Manager for First Bank LeConte Branch.  There he met his wife to be Carol who came to Alaska with Baptist Student Ministries as a summer missionary. They both heard God's call upon their lives and joined the International Mission Board of the SBC.  They served faithfully for 33 years residing in Botswana, Kenya, and Thailand. Hylden's main job was financial accountability and he helped develop three different accounting systems.  One of the systems became the first IMB worldwide accounting system converting every currency to USD at the point of transaction. Hylden planted and pastored three churches in Africa and was a founding member of a church in Thailand. Hylden traveled to all five continents including 30 plus countries conducting training and international financial audits. They retired from active missionary status as Emeritus Missionaries. Hylden returned to the banking world but again heard God's call upon his life to begin CAST.  Through several months of prayer and seeking Godly counsel Hylden stepped away from the bank and became the full time Executive Director of CAST. Hylden holds a Masters of Business Administration (4.00 GPA), active CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner member number 157743), Commissioned Minister of Religion, and single engine pilot certification. 

Ben brings his years of business management and development experience to serve the CAST ministry as Director of Business Development. While serving in many capacities over his career Ben brings an expertise in listening and understanding the needs your organization may have.
